MTV GLOBAL
MTV not only covers the U.S. but MTV is everywhere. Globally, MTV covered $419 million homes worldwide in 2005. In the U.S. alone MTV reached $87.6 million homes. Yet in Asia it reached $140.1 million homes. So by all means lets have everything global. Global services not only cover more ground but they earn much more money. Viacom is certainly very excited about raking in the big bucks.
Entertainment
Entertainment
The demassification of the entertainmetn industry has led to more money for advertising. By this I mean that artists make more money off advertisements and endorsements than the sale of their records. They make less than $1.00 per CD sale. This is highway roberry for record companies, it might as well be theft. In most endorsements they could easily make thousands and even millions. So why even sell CD's? The demassication on the entertainment industry is not fair for hard working artists. It's like Bush on America. It's time for a change.
